The municipality of Petín will become the setting for a journey back in time with the dramatized route “Petín, a Walk through History,” a cultural experience that will transport the audience to the era of the War of Independence in Valdeorras. The activity will take place on Saturday, March 15, at 17:30, and will allow participants to discover, through theater, the events and stories experienced in the region during that historical period. The walk will start at La Cigarrosa Bridge.
The route will pass through the streets of the municipality with dramatized scenes bringing key characters and real episodes of the conflict to life. The initiative, performed by the cultural association Platea Luna, aims to present local history in an educational and entertaining way, involving attendees in the atmosphere and experiences of the time.
