Flavors of Autumn in Valdeorras is a new proposal by the Valdeorras Wine Route to enjoy wine tourism with all five senses, bringing together wine, gastronomy, and territory through two very special paired tastings.
Guided by winemaker Cecilia Fernández, the sessions will offer the opportunity to discover three wines from the Valdeorras Designation of Origin, accompanied by a carefully selected range of seasonal products that highlight the richness of local gastronomy.
Two events, two charming venues
The first event will take place on Thursday, November 14, at 8:00 p.m., at Esconditte Inglés (A Rúa). The wineries A Bágoa, Berna, and Mil Ríos will star in the evening, with a pairing that will include pork tenderloin with chestnut cream, mushrooms stuffed with cured ham and cheese, and baked brie cheese with honey and pistachios.
The second event will take place on Thursday, November 28, also at 8:00 p.m., at Aloxamento A Pontevella (Sobradelo). On this occasion, the wineries Pinguela, Sampayolo, and Casal will present their wines alongside a menu featuring wild boar stew, venison or wild boar croquettes, and mushroom empanada, highlighting the flavors of the Galician countryside during this season.
